"A Dream Walking" by Joe DiMino

As starlight beaming
From out the deep
And seeming restless
Darkness, she walked
Toward me, tuning
Her gleams—

But, if said, she was
A vision would be speaking
Only of sight, where-as
Stood I entranced
For out of night now
Walked toward me
Death to my earths
While culmination of
All my worldly dreams;

Oh that she would stop
To stay awhile! Tally
That my heart
Could feed a spell
Outside a body’s endless
Greed and hell, but,
Dreams walking are not
For the taking—all born
Of the heart’s timeless
Aching….
