"A Scientist's Bedtime Story" (by Joe DiMino)
The dutiful Rainbow Fairy
Flew only arcs of light
Stretching her radiant bands
Of opulent gradient color
Into a long refractive bow
Exhibiting spectrum
Incandescent-bright
Sort of perplexing
For my 5 year old daughter,
My story ended I tucked her
Lovingly to bed
Daddy, rainbows are Heavens crayons
Honestly, thats what the fairy said.
