"All Worlds Are Empathy" (by Joe DiMino)

One need not
Have the perfect
To express love—

Nor be all out of pain
To forgive—

And if building on sand
Make a timepiece
Of here and now
Riding the crystals
And not counting
The way down—

Waiting is for youth

For novice

For amateurs;

The blessing of age
Is to take the moment
For all its worth—

And wait
To reincarnate
If to regret….

While no one wants
To be a loser
All worlds are empathy
The only physics
Our universe
