"Artist And Nature" by Joe DiMino

Strange how
the artist and nature
are at odds--
I would portrait
every moment,
while her broader brush
is one of constant change;
I pause,
listening to wind's
rolling crackle
of pummeled leaves,
thrashing branches
upon the weathered eaves--
a snapshot of my defiance.
