 “Contract of Commitment”(by Joe DiMino)

Well!
Here I am again,
Another weather day:
Oh! Not hot—cold—rainy;
Nor sunny—bright—cheerful—
Indifference more….
Sort of like
With eyes half closed
Attempting clear vision—

Example 2:

Nasal passages blocked
And trying to chew
Without a gulp;

Another equivalent:

Sex wearing a rubber—
Distance that protects
From disease
Though an
Inoculation against
A greater contract
Of true feeling
With commitment—

People do amazing things,

Acrobatics to justify
That which the soul
Innately knows
To be foolish
And lacking….
