"Divine Light" (by Joe DiMino)
Unlike Sunlight
That can be bent
And separated
as spectrum
Crystal dissecting into color
Divine Light is indivisibly pure;
Intensity for tweaking
Mortal hearts
Coasters of thought
And senses,
Peaking
Then falling away
In breathless rushes
Yet from such transformation
We miraculously survive
Human
This dark we call death
Is brilliance
Of unimaginable release
Divine Light, above and below;
Withinthe spirit eye will attest;
When comparing effulgence
Natural sunlight
Is far less
.
