"Fear Dread" (by Joe DiMino)
Took a ride
On a cloud last night
Conductor said, All aboard!
As he flew by,
Though I dont fly
But somehow up there
I transferred to a cloud,
No fear of falling
Fear
Afraid of quite clear;
The choice
To die bravely,
Or to live fearful,
And thus be said,
To live the safe life
Of dread
I tested the theory
Stepped from the cloud
Aloft a mountain range,
And indeed strange
High I kept floating
The mountains soon
No more,
The cloud now dewdrops,
The tears I never shed
The life I never led
fear-dread,
Fear-dread
