Had I said
I love you
Would you have
Remembered me today,
Or still passed
Without a second glance
Continued your alternate way?

Love a living word
If to thrive
Need often spoken?

I thought there were other voices

And knew the language of many

But apparently never knew
The dialect to your heart….
