I live for love—
That is to say,
I live as God’s essence
And intimacy:
My walk amidst His fields and rainbows
With eye for color
And tongue for sweetness—
My stroll over golden leaves
A wealth of journeys
And those silvered tips of summits
Higher lights
Always beckoning skyward—
Star near and far,
No shadow within you;
And the many casting obstacles
Outside
In time all transformed
Not obliterated by fire the goal
But smoked till new fertility—
Indeed life can be a cooker;
Each of us a chef and cuisine
Cap of halo or horns
Indigestion
The first holy
Before release—
