There are instances
I feel quite close to You,
Breathing in and out—
Worlds born and gone
In flashes of thermal consciousness
While You remain patient with me,
Linger so tender with me—
In my times of living
And my joy of writing,
The ongoing chronicles
Of this mysterious
Creative process—
Your tactile around me
Of me,
And mine within me
Of You…
