"If I Loved You" by Joe DiMino
If I loved you
I would tell you so,
Though those
Truly loved
Already know-
One need only
A receptive
Heart
.
And if I did not tell
Your knowing showing
That receptive heart
Of yours glowing,
There would be no doubt
Of love
This poem about-
For love is simply
The best of things-
Even if rings
In time
There are dings,
And jewels can chip
And sincere hearts
Can slip,
But love is forever,
And poems only clever-
So I pledge my heart
And pray
With you
An eternity
To prove
.
