"It Is Sea and Sun" (by Joe DiMino)

It is sea
And sun
And wind,
Our moving air—
Earth beneath
Our feet, the soul
Expressing also
The storms and
The weather fair
Taking us to
And from
It is here
Nor there,
Never a need
For else
It all we nurture
And all we refuse
To care;
It is God
With a fist
Of ice-cubes,
And the devil,
Without a singe
(Our decision)
Left to bear—
