"It Is Sea and Sun" (by Joe DiMino)

It is sea
And sun
And wind,
Our moving air—
Earth beneath
Our feet, the soul
Expressing also
There;
The storms and
The weather fair
Taking us to
And from
Everywhere;
It is here
Nor there,
Never a need
For else
Somewhere—
It all we nurture
And all we refuse
To care;
It is God
With a fist
Of ice-cubes,
And the devil,
Without a singe
(Our decision)
Left to bear—
