"Judge A Book" (by Joe DiMino)

"Judge a book
Not by its cover
But by content"--
Not by the Press
But by venom
Of his policy
By chains of bondage unbroken
From cradle-to-grave:

I awaken to pictures of Mao
Indelible on my mind;
From a dream or vision
I cannot say
Without serious reservation;
A fatherly gentleman
On the walls of my mind
I see
Our young too manipulated
For external voyage
And the stupid
Too short sighted
To journey
To cells of future
Before doors are shut--
