Let it rest—
For the heart
Needs no diagram
To be its natural best;
To find its way
Back to love
Requiring only
The mind to step aside—
Retreat from the scoring
And calculations;
(Too much salt…
With too many visuals
Of wounds for replaying:
Are not tapes
Any should keep,
Wiser left in the sun
To melt
And be done)
Nothing worth saving
If it makes
The Heart weep….
