"Life As Written" (by Joe DiMino)

Life though often written
As if
Between two covers
I sense beyond…
And—so—death not
The brief obituary!
But culmination—
Their process
Chaptered with dates
Through storyline of parting;

Therefore I die daily (the fact):
Live toward that climax
Ardently loving
For the ecstasy though parting—

Oh for her kiss
Sweet death!
Dying for embrace far greater I yield;
Life and dying,
Love and death—somehow
They are strangely
The same coin—
Though often I do not understand;
Yet I sense pockets filled,
The trip—eternity….
