It’s the same sun—
Just a day older,
But really
No colder….
The same heart—
Really no colder,
Just a love older;
Life goes on…
Always been that way;
In the good-old days,
In the bad-old days,
In our modern days—
Days are still days,
Life, the same ways,
Especially the ways
Of the heart…
