What you have
Never leaves you…
Time just gives some
A backseat—as the new,
Triumphant for dent-free
Sings of shinny brightness,
The armor we call progress,
Just the back of the same head
For others—

Nothing ever leaves us;
But it can be a source of courage
Or an old dividing force,
For nothing is ever lost—
Only hidden
As joys or tears;

We can keep all distance thoroughly,
Or see together our true heart---
For all is centered when paired,
A Major Scale between the tips—
Life is healthy with balance,
Whatever way it dips…
