"Lost" (by Joe DiMino)

But if so
To ourselves more,
And those close-minded
To the spirit of a heart,
And its constant warmth
Of beating;

Resting beneath its cloud
In place
Certain of the light they both share
Visible only, sometimes,
At those distant edges
Beyond a day….
