 “Measures”(by Joe DiMino)
I have often walked over
Thin ice—not to let thickness
Dissuade me, by making myself
Light as needed;
But there is a fine-line
When it comes to measures
And conscience…
The latter having never
Let me down—
While, the former
More times lacking
Or in excess….
