"My Mistress, Poetry" (by Joe DiMino)
She calls me
By my Eternal name
The name
Only Heaven and I know
But somehow she knows,
Reads this sacred map
My soul's journey;
Weaves for me her threads,
The silver and gold of robes;
Throws jewels at my feet,
Daring me to pick-up a crown
Whispers at my ear
My weakness, words;
Methodically undressing me,
Till we are both naked,
Lying side by side, lyrically exposed
