"My Star" (by Joe DiMino)

Which to be?
A shade of yellow
A shade of pink
A touch of blue—let me think?
Titanium white
Brighter by far!
But, more I Cezanne
With tint of Renoir—
Impressionist in me
Rejecting pure white
Pure black;
As the shape of me
No absolute front
Nor back;
Always in motion
Shades of turns—
Everything I know
Having yet to learn,
Only for certain
My star, a shooter;

Chose your atmosphere
Wisely…meteorically
We burn.
