Newton's Law (by Joe DiMino)

Not easy looking like
a genius:

Oh, the Relativity is a snap!

but the unruly hair,
such a messy affair;

and the forgetfulness…

the trouser left undone,

a zipper creeping down—

but Einstein, long on time,
was never short on fun:

exposed for
obvious brevity;
not lacking in art
such as levity;
emphasizing light
his present subject,
interrupted his talk
with a brief smile,
turning his back
a short while
for immediate attention—
to Newton’s
embarrassing
law
of
Gravity….
