"One Good God" by Joe DiMino
Though a man of many faiths
I tend to be a traditionalist
when it comes to evil
and its father, the devil.
As a man of many tears
I tend to weep
for a world of many
gods, but not one
seeming capable enough-
Oh! the prayers are fine,
but proof in the pudding,
sweet to the mouth
yet foul smelling in the end
analysis….
There is one good God-
then His creation,
independent
(Free Willed!),
too many
choosing hate
over love
and death
over life
eternal….
