"One" by Joe DiMino

Some say life is a puzzle
While others
Simply enjoy
Their various shapes
And sizes,
Never saying
In the process of fitting
That his philosopher is separate
Or, heaven forgive,
Greater than his thesis

One is the larger picture—
Yet we talk to ourselves
As if the many languages
Are not a solid schizoid being;
Yes, the fragmentation
An illusion
But no single player will do
For the whole is everything
Therefore nothing
Without the rest
Remaining our characteristic
