"Politics As Always" (by Joe DiMino)

Stupid politicians!
Killing the hen (US Constitution) laying
Golden eggs for all willing to work;

(The destructive braying
Of typical jackasses
Common throughout history
The world over)-

To near donkeys and far
I say this with the 
Deepest heart-felt pain,
Declaring that self-aggrandizement
Is more insane-

To those American institutions housing 
Unfortunates stricken and called, Mentally-ill-
I must profess,
More good would be done
Where their buildings emptied
Full staffs freed-up  
So they could begin to address
The confused mind and soul
Of a self righteous executive
And his equally deranged Congress
