Shadow The Cat
A rat is a rat is a rat!
A cat is a cat is a cat!
And whenever their lanes
Do meet
For Shadow it is a treat-
But to birds sometimes
He has given a pass;
Perhaps just not hungry-
Though at least once, I swear,
He seemed dreaming…
And protective of wings-
