She Has Dreamed
She has dreamed in faith-
dreamed in doubt;
held to her dream
in a world
often unkind to dreamers
discarding them in and out-

The after-glow of sunset-
stars just before dawn
when not clearly night
nor clearly day
misty dreamers never belong-

She has dreamed in faith
dreamed in doubt-
dreamed of love
and loved her dreams
alone it seems....
