Has it been that long?

Yes. I guess,

many years

past till present

have come and gone;

many seasons--

leafless and green;

bare and blossomed;

plentiful and lean;

thank God

not many mean,

like wine

corked and sealed

bear the stamp of time--

so very long ago

yours and mine.
