"So Much Easier" (by Joe DiMino)

So much easier to digest
what is already
a bit chewed
handed to us-
Sanitary!
What is sanitary?
Our thoughts?
our feelings?
Perhaps to God's eyes
we are sanitary-
for our faults
he has given even these-
graciously allowing us to edit
down to a single frame of 
of wholesome celluloid
all the flickering past,
myself hopeful of anything
compacted and canned,
labeled fresh
or at least edible reruns.
