"Time Is Fascinating" by Joe DiMino

Time is fascinating-

The cold
Mechanics of it,

With a certain affinity
Between gears and flesh;

Circular motion of blood
While a heart escaping
A wheel with teeth,
A mainspring often
Over-wound into delusion;

Time-the madness of it;
Stop it and your
Watch is over-
Repaired it is no-longer vintage;
Unless vintage parts
Are used in the process,
But these are the first
Lost to time-
Along with
Youthful saints
And cathedrals….
