"Time Will keep Our Best Memories" (by Joe DiMino)

Leaves, speckle-brown,
As do bridges
Wrinkled-crinkled
Come endlessly down—
Many bridges
And seasons of leaves
Has the earth reclaimed,
And so in time
Must I give back;

But I have come to know
It is all love—
The ache of love born,
And then beyond the death of love
To love born again
More solid—the karat weight of ages—

Death!—I fear you not;
Time will keep our best memories
—Both are immortal—
