"Until One Teaches" by Joe DiMino

One does not become-
if there is such a plateau
outside of ego-a true
master, until one teaches;
we give attention to others
criticism denied when self-
the petulant child…
the ever sucking
fearful offspring…
the fragile blossom
dependent on light
and rain
(no arm's length
is the cosmos)-
like it or not,
bound to the hip
of the universe….
