 “Walks”(by Joe DiMino)

I often go for walks;
By the blooms
As well as
Over the gravel—
One, a divinely
Scented way,
While the other
A crisp crunch,
Sort of a manly

Why I walk?
I do not know;
The physician might say,
For the health—
But I think it more
Old habit:
Through with crawling
But still haven’t found
My step high enough
