"Where Are You" (by Joe DiMino)
Where are you tonight my love?
Off again reading your bliss
Kissing life of pages,
My little bookworm
Gnawing holes
To your hearts content;
Where are you tonight, my little angel?
On some celestial cloud
Singing praises
Plucking Great String-spheres,
Music of your own
Across Light-years;
And where am I my love?
With down-home beat;
Tapping my fanciful feet
A spirit melody
Firm on earth
Not in air
The greens and grits of life;
Black-eyed peas
And local bits of life
Firmly here
