It never leaves—

Yet—we close our eyes
To the Sun of love
At rising—
And the moon of love
Keeping glow of love,
Love’s warmth
Ardent in the shade
Of night—

We are each
A nest of love—
Sad if kept out of sight;
Sealing our hearts
To the beat of love,
The wings of love
Fluttering—needing only
Our revealing
To light—-
