"Yet Would I Try Most Anything" by Joe DiMino

What was there
Before the sun?
A missing place
Of sky;
And what was there
Before the wing?
Was not a thought
To fly…?
And why was there
Not sky—but empty?
With no breeze to hum
And sing….
Of limitless possibilities
Were I a lonely God
Before man
Yet would I try
Most anything.
