"Born With Erasers" by Joe DiMino

Seems like
we should have
been born with erasers-

Oh, I know,
there's the mind-
if not able to forget
can justify anything,
like a dog
trotting from bone-holes-

but imagine,
if we could really
make it so
it never happened-

Too many are deceived,
Death their distiller-eternally impaled,
Squandering the Cross of Resurrection.
