 “Nativity”(by Joe DiMino)

There were blues and greens
Icicles with sheens;
Reds for the noses
Fine garments for the poses;
Santa and Elves
White lights for the brights-
Flashing pines with gifts,
Piles high as Reindeer hips;
But I thought more of man's
Proclivity: blessing his own wealth
Of creativity; and though lavish
Each charming display, far and wide I saw
Not one Nativity….
