"One Precious Time a Year" (by Joe DiMino)
As children they approach the tree
Johnny, Mary, Cathy-Lee;
Lawyer, doctor, secretary
White skin, black skin, red like cherry;
The tree is green, its scent divine
With bells, sweet canes, tinsel shine;
Exchanging gifts giving eggnog toast
Thanking Jesus, Their Sacred Host;
Sad Dear Spirittoday you are born
Till next Christmas your children gone
