"Words" by Joe DiMino

They will survive
without articulation
flat and printed
the words
needing no voice…

and really what
is best transported
can be a look
and a touch sufficient—

I believe the world
far too vocal,
and its heart
far too silent a passenger
from dictionary to dictionary…
