You bit the bait
And bought it—
Swallowed it
Hook, line and sinker;

The reactionary-mind,

The cause-and-effect-man:

Everything needing prodding—
The optimum rest
In balance,
Rejecting a freedom of spirit—
Above the laws
On planes of all ascension

Death need not be your catalyst:

Prayer need not be an incantation

Omnipotence is love—

If you doubt it,
You have never known it—
Not really,—
Not as a child of God
